We are committed to improving the lives of the members of our community, and aim to create a long term social impact through our work. Our focus is on performing for children, young people and vulnerable adults, as well as staff and carers supporting these groups. Following our performances, 86% of audience members report having gained an educational benefit from our work. We are also highly successful in creating entertaining pieces – 92% of our audience members report that they enjoy our work. We feel that giving pleasure to an audience is a key benefit in itself, and can create a positive impact in terms of mental wellbeing. We also aim to increase accessibility to the arts, particularly for people in deprived communities. We feel that Fife is an area that particularly benefits from our input, as it has four regeneration areas currently, and also includes rural areas where access to the arts may be limited.
In 2014/15, we offered a total of 27 performances, with 761 audience members in attendance.
For 2015/16, we aim to offer 80 performances, for a total of 2200 audience members.
